I have deep roots in North Orange County. My wife, my sons, Marshall and Adam, and I are life-long Fullerton residents and graduates of Fullerton's excellent public schools. I lived in Anaheim as a child and attended Horace Mann Elementary School. My grandfather taught at Anaheim High School and his mother was born in Anaheim eventually graduating from Anaheim High School. My Parents met and fell in love at Fullerton College. After my family moved to Fullerton, I graduated from Fullerton High School and earned a degree in Economics from the University of Redlands and a JD degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
My wife, Paulette, and I have been married for 42 years.
Prior to joining the Council at the City of Fullerton, I worked for the Anaheim Community Development Department as a Special Projects Manager, helping to provide affordable housing for Anaheim residents for 10 years. I have practiced law for over 40 years in Fullerton, helping small businesses. Currently, I serve on the Fullerton Arboretum Joint Powers Authority. I am also the City Council’s representative on Homelessness and the Coyote Hills Preserve.
